Matthew Circelli

Hello! I’m Matt Circelli, a bilingual Space Engineering graduate with over five years of experience architecting highly available backend test suites and infrastructure, developing Python-based GIS processing suites and designing complex systems using Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE).

I have proven expertise in maintaining Linux systems, deploying containerized microservices, creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, developing and using REST APIs in event-driven architectures and testing Web and Desktop applications via automated testing. I am also CGP-certified and hold active Secret-level security clearances.

My career experience includes four years at Leonardo Canada Inc, an Electronic Warfare-focused defence firm and subsidiary of global defence company Leonardo S.p.A, where I began as a Systems Engineer before transitioning into my current role as V&V Lead in 2025. I also spent two years at C-CORE, a space research and development organization, working as a Software Developer. Learn more.
